Arsenal have shown their keen interest to bring Real Madrid superstar Karim Benzama at the Emirates. Reportedly, the English club have already sent an offer to the Spanish giants to inquire about the availability of the French striker.
Arsenal have reportedly made a tantalizing £48 million bid to sign Benzama this summer. Real Madrid’s boss Rafa Benitez might let the striker go in order to give Cristiano Ronaldo more space to score goals frequently. The Frenchman can switch the club, if his importance in the team gets reduced.
Arsenal is badly in need of a striker right now as the English international Danny Welbeck is out for approximately four months. They will need another striker to back up Giroud’s performances who has been pretty successful in the last campaign. With Welbeck unavailable for the first four months, the Gunners will go for another striker for sure.
The Gunners have finished the last season, giving an indication to be in the competition for this year’s title, and for that they need to bolster their attack. Benzama will give the needed stability in the team as he is highly capable of scoring goals consistently.
Now, all the eyes are on Real Madrid’s first match against Sporting Gijon to see, if Benitez plays Benzama in the opening game. Arsenal have secured Mesut Ozil two years back, which then, came as a bolt from the blue.
As Madrid have just two games before closing the transfer window, Arsene Wenger must hurry to finalize the deal.
The French international is yet to speak about receiving any offer from the English club; instead he had posted a photo of himself getting back at the training with the Los Blancos.
If Arsenal fail to secure the French attacker, they might pursue Edinson Cavani to bring him in the English top flight.
