Serena Williams Clears her First Round Beating

Serena Williams made it to the second round of French Open, beating her Czech opponent Andrea Hlvackova by direct sets on Tuesday. Williams finished the game with a 6-2, 6-3 win and this was her 15 Grand Slam win in a row.
Williams got an expected win facing meek difficulties at Rolland Garros as Hlavackova, who is 166th in the world ranking has no history of passing the first round in the French Open. This time, Williams is fighting for his third major title in French Open.
Williams dominated the court from the very beginning of the match. Hitting five aces and 25 winners Williams didn’t seem to be uncomfortable at all with his right elbow injury. Among 30 first-serve points she won 24. The 19 times grand slam champion took only 59 minutes of play to take away her victory with four splendid breaks of serve.
As Willliams was struggling a bit in the first round, Rolland Garros tweeted: “Of course, Williams surviving an opening round is hardly surprising”
The American tennis star looked to be in a fun mood in the court. She will face German player Anna-Lena Friedsam or the American qualifier Alexa Glatch next. By the way, equations may get very interesting as this world no 1 have a strong possibility to get 27th ranked Victoria Azarenka in the third round. Azarenka is undoubtedly a better player than her current ranking and also has a nose to nose battle history with the world no 1 Serena Williams.
